In the Land of Bayou, Louisiana, they showcase a broad variety of artists who can hold their own in their sector of talent. One of the standouts to me is a guy from Denham Springs, goes by the name is Randy Savage. Skinny White Guy who releases his thoughts throughout his southern slang and his honest intentions.
More on the project, The Appetizer, which is posted by "The Modern Life". This surprised me really, it was better then I highly expected and it was truly worth the wait. Filled with 8 songs, truly spicing up the taste for his main project "A Love Affair EP".
Starts off with the laid back released song "Smoke It Off", which speaks of the everyday troubles and situations he faces, but he takes a few l's and smoke the problems off. Then the Premier single "Late Night" kicks in with the other Louisiana rising stars "Ronny My" and "Treehead". Just goes through the journey of good, fun, and swagger out Friday night. Another Favorite of mine is "My Crazy Life", which he goes in depth about his passion and desire to make it in this sector of music. Last but not least, is "Doubt" featuring Ryan Legend. This was actually the first song I heard by Savage months ago, but this song is definitely a stand out on the tape, it shows why he is one of the top rising artists in his region and why he's hosted by The Modern Life.
This guy is definitely not another rapper just doing something, he is branding himself in a way I haven't seen in the state of Louisiana
Check it out.
