Former NFL all pro player Bubba Smith passed away in his L.A. home on Wednesday August 3rd at age 66. He play pro football in the 60's and 70's for the Baltimore Colts. He won the Superbowl with the team at the end of 1970. The Michigan state graduate also had stints with the Oakland Raiders and the Houston Oilers. In his post NFL years he appeared in several roles including a bodyguard on Good Times and most notably his role in the Police Academy franchise. His death was sudden but declared natural causes.
