Rick Ross Is Really The Boss Now

Former Officer Rick Ross turned rapper and now CEO of MMG (Maybach Music)has just decided to get his Magic Johnson on. Ross has decided to invest in the Wingstop Franchise after eating at one in Miami. He says after trying their Lemon Pepper-flavored wings, he knew this was a business venture that he wanted to invest in. The first restaurant The Boss will open will be in Memphis, Tn.Jim Flynn, the CEO of Wingstop says he's excited about their partnership. Ross is a talented artist and Flynn feels that his business saavy and star power will be great for their partnership. Wingstops are catching a lot attention from NFL and NBA athletes. Former Dallas Cowboy Troy Aiman has invested in the franchises and now sits on the board of directors.

Trina Slipped and Slid Off The Label

The Diamond Princess has cut ties with her former label home of Slip n Slide Records. Trina started out there and has spent her whole career with S&S. Recently, she dropped a new mixtape called Diamonds Are Forever that is straight fire. It boasts production from ColliPark, features Mya, Rick Ross and K. Michelle. In a recent interview with DJ Skee, she says that she is glad to be able to work with Rick Ross again. Trina says they go way back and he has really been instrumental in making her next album. Who Stopped Ya?

It looks like Ms. Wallace stopped ya. The hot new single by Monica called "Anything To Find You" featuring Rick Ross and Lil Kim has been blazing the airwaves for almost 2 weeks now. An injunction was filed by Biggies mother to stop the song. Monica took to twitter to plead her case with Ms. Wallace but that's not going to stop the problem. The problem started a while back between Lil Kim and Ms. Voletta Wallace. When Big first passed, Kim says the two were close. They even lived Big's house for eight months together. Things began to change when Ms. Wallace and Faith decided to depict Kim in what Kim calls a real negative portrayal in the movie "Notorious". From there, it really went downhill and quickly. There has been a war of words between the two. Lil Kim even claimed that Naturi was too dark to portray her. Ms. Wallace fired back with "Lil Kim is a white girl trapped in a black woman's body". All of this petty bickering led to the injunction filed on the song. Ms. Wallace says they can release the song as long as it doesn't have Lil Kim on it. It's all ridiculous, if you ask me.
