Different faces. Different stories.
As I explore the city each and every day, I notice something in life that will
never change, trying to figure out peoples background. I notice articulate
individuals that work at jobs that don't fit their certifications. I often
wonder to myself, "Why are they working here?" most of the time, they're
probably just trying to pay off for something like college, law school or
something of that nature, if that individual is young, but it can be other
variables also in the situation. Sometimes in this life that we live in, people
can go into jams and be in droughts at certain time periods. Especially now, as
a nation, we are just getting back on our feet from this recession that we be
in,it's effect has caused many middle age individuals to be working at your
local Denny's or Whataburger to get back where they were financially. That's why
I appreciate my background so much, because it gives me the support to pursue
whatever I want, and it inspires me to inspire others to do the exact same.
This world we live in is filled with different opportunities, but we just have
to advantage of them and it starts in the classroom. Your home and your school
are the foundation and building blocks to help you succeed, reason being these
guys are placed in your life to help you, but you have to have the willingness
and the heart to take advice and constructive criticism to build yourself to be
what you want to be. So my final advice for anybody reading this insert, no
matter what background you come from, the possibilities for you succeeding are
endless, just watch your steps, keep your mind open, have your head to the sky,
and just believe in GOD, yourself and anybody that you KNOW for a fact thats
going stick with you through thick and thin.
Sincerely,
Gregory "G. Class" Harris
